Fiona Exner

As financial market participants, we have the opportunity not only to generate financial returns but simultaneously improve livelihoods, environmental sustainability and social equality. I am passionate about making a meaningful contribution to this transformation in the property sector and thus actively shaping a prosporous future for everyone.

I started my career in the education and social care sector in Edinburgh, Scotland. I later moved into the property industry and worked as a certified property and asset manager for residential properties. Moving to Germany, during my studies in real estate economics (IREBS), I expanded my expertise in commercial portfolio management and international investment advisory, eventually being Managing Director. My goal is to make a significant contribution to positive, social and environmental change through my daily work. As part of this, I specialised in ESG and impact investing while completing my MBA in International Real Estate at the University of Regensburg. Since January 2024, I have been working as an Impact Investing Manager at Next Generation Invest AG, focusing on innovative impact management and measurement in the areas of portfolio and project development as well as infrastructure.
